Belarthis, an online publishing platform (ISSN no. 3041-6515), publishes here all articles submitted to it and approved by its editorial board (see procedure). Each contribution is accompanied by a bibliographic, archival, and iconographic record that constitutes a database which—unlike the article to which it is linked—is likely to evolve over time and as new discoveries are made.
The articles published here are specific in that they give particular importance to the analysis of the influence (impact or effect) of the subjects covered on the development of art history and associated disciplines.
The collective logic at work within the Belarthis project does not impose a thought that would be common to all authors, but intends to stimulate – by pooling its efforts, questions and resources – an analytical, critical and reflective dynamic of its contents.
